Form & Content 5

I found this design online when I was looking for graffiti art. I thought it had a good form and content connection and really showed typography working well with image in the same style. It is presented in a collection of a competition for aesthetically pleasing Windows wallpapers. The connection between the content and form is that with the technologies that Windows 7 presents to us, we are able to design wallpaper like this with greater ease than before. What makes this visually interesting is presenting a logo that everyone recognizes in a style that everyone recognizes but combining the two represent the logo in a new and different way, The simplicity of the piece is also a positive quality, the Windows logos are generally pretty simple and get the point across in a few simple steps while still being powerful. The repetition of the graffiti style between the image and type also helps draw it together into one coherent artwork.
